The gravest mistake most people make about drug addiction is that it is a dirty habit and the person who is participating in that is also an unacceptable misfit in society. But if that is the way you are going to look upon drug abuse, then this problem will never go away.
A drug abuse problem is often seen as singular; it is seen as that person’s problem. While they may be ruining their life with a drug abuse problem, they are not hurting or affecting any others. This is not the case, unfortunately.
